Have a Happy Summer! ¡Que pases un buen verano!

Olympic Rings Project
1. Place paper horizontally.
2. Use the packing tape (or any circular object you have around your house) to trace three circles toward the top center of your paper. Use your pinky finger to space out the rings. Trace the inside and outside of the tape roll. There are 3 rings on the top and 2 rings on the bottom.
3. Underneath the first two rings, place the tape roll so it is overlapping the rings and trace the tape roll. Move the roll so it overlaps the middle and last ring and trace it.
5. Use crayons to color in the rings, pay close attention to the placement of the colors.

6. Paint each shape with a different color with watercolors, crayons, markers or whatever you have available.
7. This is an example of a finished project.

Olympic Silhouette Art Project
1. First look on Internet for clip art images of sport silhouettes and choose one that you like. For example one of these.
2. Draw the image in permanent marker and then fracture the background into sections.
3. Once complete, use watercolour paints, crayons, coloured pencils or whatever you have to colour and fill in.

The Leaning Tower of Pisa
We continue drawing with different types of lines. This week we have to use a grid to draw the Leaning Tower of Pisa. This monument can be found in the city of Pisa, Italy.
